Miss Yeji

Cello Instructor

Yeji Lee is an accomplished cellist with extensive experience in solo, chamber, and orchestral performance. She graduated from Biola University with a Bachelor of Music in Performance, where she served as Principal Cellist of the Biola Symphony Orchestra and was a member of the Biola Honors String Quartet. She studied under renowned cellist Keith Williams.

Born and raised in South Korea until the age of twelve, Yeji later moved to Kenya, where she continued her musical journey. During her time there, she became the youngest member of the Nairobi Orchestra and was a three-time winner of the Young Musicians Competition in 2015, 2016, and 2018.

As both a performer and educator, Yeji is passionate about helping students develop strong technique, musical expression, and confidence. She strives to create an encouraging learning environment where students can grow not only as musicians, but also in discipline, creativity, and character.
