
Anna Krahn
Violin Faculty – Pianova Institute
Anna Krahn is currently in her fifth year at Biola University, pursuing a degree in Music Education and Violin Performance. Originally from British Columbia, Canada, she grew up in a musical family and developed a deep passion for both performance and teaching from an early age.
Anna has performed with the Abbotsford Youth Orchestra and the Vancouver Island Symphony in Canada. She has been teaching violin and piano privately since 2016 and previously served on faculty at Bakerview Music Academy (2018–2020).

At Biola University, Anna studies under Professor Elizabeth Larson, serves as Concertmaster of the Biola Symphony Orchestra, and performs in the Biola String Quartet. In 2024 and 2025, she attended the MasterWorks Festival, studying with conductors from major U.S. orchestras.

Anna is passionate about nurturing young musicians through strong technical foundation, expressive playing, and disciplined practice habits. She believes music is a powerful tool for character development and lifelong growth.
